Casarão Penedo was born for grand celebrations. Back in 1836, its legendary owner Maria Benedita Gonçalves — known as the "Queen of Coffee" — was a devoted patron of the arts who maintained an entire orchestra to play at the lavish gatherings she hosted here. Nearly two centuries later, that spirit of celebration still lives in every corner of the estate. The Orangerie, our glass-enclosed space with views of the manor and gardens, is ideal for cocktails, intimate dinners and celebrations with capacity up to 150 people. Its large glass windows create naturally lit and cozy atmosphere by night.

Penedo is one of the most charming destinations in the Vale do Café, in Rio de Janeiro state.
